This time the tick took a life in Bolu!

As the weather warms, deaths from tick bites have begun to increase.

Şerife Halıcı, who lives in Kapaklı village of Gerede district of Bolu, was bitten by a tick 1 week ago. The woman, who became unwell after a while, was taken to Gerede State Hospital by ambulance. Halıcı, who was diagnosed with Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever, was later transferred to Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University Training and Research Hospital. The woman, who was receiving treatment at the hospital, lost her life during the night. Halıcı's funeral was held after the prayer held in Kapaklı village at noon.
