Polish company plans to pay dividend, announces buyback of own shares

The IMS company, which deals with audio marketing, sensory marketing and advertising, among others, in 2024 had revenues of PLN 37.4 million, compared to PLN 41.29 million a year earlier. Net profit for the past year amounted to PLN 8.82 million, and in 2023 it was PLN 5.55 million.

The Management Board recommends the payment of a dividend from the profit for 2024 in the amount of PLN 0.16 per share, for which PLN 5.6 million will be allocated.

In December 2024, the company paid an advance payment towards the planned dividend of PLN 0.16 per share, which exhausts the requested amount.

In April this year, IMS changed its dividend policy and announced that, in addition to the classic dividend, it is also possible to buy back its own shares.

Now the board recommends to the general meeting to pass a resolution on the purchase of 625 thousand treasury shares at PLN 8 per share. The purchase would be carried out by the end of July, and the acquired shares would be subject to cancellation. The average share price in recent days is PLN 3.70 per share.

The company's main shareholders are: Michał Kornecki (18.19%), Dariusz Lichacz (18.15%) and Artur Czeszejko-Sochacki together with an associated entity (10.12%). IMS has been listed on the stock exchange since January 2012.
