Codesharing Agreement Signed Between Turkish Airlines and Airlink

Codesharing Agreement Signed Between Turkish Airlines and Airlink

Turkish Airlines (THY) and South Africa-based Airlink have signed a comprehensive codeshare agreement that will take effect on August 1, 2025. Under the agreement, THY will use Airlink's code "TK" on select domestic flights. This will provide seamless connections from Istanbul-based flights to numerous destinations in South Africa, including Johannesburg and Cape Town.

Turkish Airlines Deputy General Manager Levent Konukcu stated that the partnership will provide both commercial benefits and strengthen tourism and cultural relations between the two countries. Airlink CEO De Villiers Engelbrecht emphasized that the agreement offers passengers a more convenient and comprehensive travel experience.

This strategic partnership between the two airlines will offer passengers more flexible and easier travel with a single ticket.
