Fighter jet crashes into ocean in Japan!
A frightening military aviation accident has occurred in Japan. The Japan Self-Defense Forces (SDF) announced that an F-2A fighter jet crashed off the coast of Ibaraki Prefecture during a training flight over the Pacific Ocean.
PILOT ejected himself
It was reported that the sole pilot on board the plane managed to eject himself in the accident that occurred at 12.34 and was rescued alive by a UH-60J helicopter and taken to hospital.
Investigation launched
The crashed aircraft was reportedly attached to Hyakuri Air Base in Ibaraki Prefecture. It was reported that no damage was caused to vessels in the area due to the accident, and a detailed investigation has been launched.
