Ministry of External Affairs issues travel warning for Nepal

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a travel warning for Turkish citizens following the recent developments in Nepal.

In a statement, the ministry noted that security risks in the country continue and said, "It is recommended not to travel to Nepal unless it is essential."

Citizens in Nepal were urged to exercise caution, follow the guidance of local authorities, and closely monitor developments. The statement also stated that current announcements can be followed on the official website and social media accounts of the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi, which is accredited to Nepal.

The Ministry also announced that in case of emergency, citizens can receive support from the Turkish Embassy in New Delhi, the Honorary Consulate of Nepal and the Consulate Call Center.
