Samsun-Çarşamba Airport Served 718,000 Passengers in 6 Months

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's State Airports Authority (DHMI) announced Samsun-Çarşamba Airport's data for the first six months of 2025. Between January and June, the airport served a total of 718,398 passengers.

In June, passenger numbers reached 138,628. Domestic flights welcomed 122,201 passengers and international flights 16,427. A total of 1,321 aircraft landed and took off in the same month, with freight traffic reaching 1,325 tons.

In the first half of the year, total aircraft traffic reached 7,572, and freight traffic reached 6,222 tons. The data indicates that Samsun-Çarşamba Airport continues to be a major transportation hub for the region.
