Instagram's location sharing feature is now available in Türkiye
Meta aims to provide greater communication with loved ones with this location-sharing feature for Instagram, but it also raises privacy concerns. The feature can be turned on or off if desired.
LOCATION SHARING FEATURE COMES TO INSTAGRAMGo to your Instagram account and click on the three dots in the top right corner of the profile, go to Settings and Activity, click on Who can see their content, click on Story, Live broadcast and Location, tap on the Location sharing option and when you open the settings, set the location to Never share.
Some people don't see it this way, but Instagram direct messages have a "Map" option at the top. If you click the Map section and set the "Who can see your location" section to "No one," your location information won't be sent.
